What is the cost of a new PAN card? This is a common question from individuals who are applying for a PAN card for the first time. Indian citizens need to pay Rs. 116 and foreign citizens have to pay Rs. 1,020.

Online Method to Apply for PAN Card:

  • Online is considered the easiest and fast method to apply for PAN card. Online pan card application requires visiting the official website of NSDL or UTITSL.
  • Select the pan card need and fill the form with all the details like date of birth, name, mobile number and address
  • Select the best option and submit the support documents for the above details
  • Once completed, you will be directed to the payment screen. Pay the PAN card fee and get the acknowledgement
  • PAN card will be delivered to the physical address of the applicant

Offline Method to Apply for PAN Card:

Though offline, visit the UTI centre and fill the PAN application form. Submit the required documents, affix the current photograph on the form and submit it to the office along with the specified fee. Once the form is reviewed, an individual will get acknowledgement and PAN will be delivered at the home of the applicant.
